Camunda is a remote-first company. We are distributed across the globe. By now we have all worked online for an extended period of time, but even with these ‘work from home’ skills now fully solidified in our back pocket, we can all still personally experience stress, exhaustion, and burnout in our working and personal lives.
World Mental Health Day is on Monday 10th October 2022. As well as hosting a wellbeing workshop on the day itself, Camunda will be taking the rest of the week to share content each day that you can apply to your working and personal life in order to support your mental health for the better.
Please see below our schedule of events for the week. After it has been shared, we’ll also be adding all content to this page for future referral:
Agenda for the week:
Monday 10th Oct: - Wellbeing workshops

In today’s message below, we are spotlighting our Flexible Time Off (FTO) offering and how you can best utilize it to help support a positive mental health journey:
A tired mind can lead to burnout.
Time off is super important for maintaining a healthy work/life balance and being able to return with a fresh mind and recharged batteries enables you to do your best work.
For this reason, you have flexible time off at Camunda. FTO gives you the ability to take additional vacation days so long as business continuity is maintained.
You can use your flexible time off for anything you like, including resting, taking a break from work, taking care of yourself, taking a vacation, volunteering in your local community, focusing on further education, etc. FTO is when you will be away from your desk for 4 or more hours eg taking a half day.
You do not need to use your flexible time off to do things such as household chores, personal errands, going to a doctor's appointment, going to the gym, taking a nap, or helping a loved one e.g. anything that takes less than 4 hours / a half day.
For all additional information on our FTO policy, please feel free to reference our Flexible Time Off page in our Benefits & Perks area of Confluence. You can also reach out to our People Operations team via #ask-people-team

Today’s sound bath session is a perfect example of how physical activities can help to positively support your mental health.
Physical activity has a huge potential to enhance our well-being. Even a short burst of 10 minutes of brisk walking increases our mental alertness, energy and positive mood. Participation in regular physical activity can increase our self-esteem and can reduce stress and anxiety.
At Camunda we have various sports offerings available to all employees. You can read more on how you personally can utilize our sports offering right HERE.
