This page has been created to elevate the candidate experience and provide more transparency about the hiring and interview process at Camunda. The best way to get a job at Camunda, is to apply directly via our careers page. We follow an equitable and inclusive single hiring pipeline per position, and therefore don't accept any unsolicited applications via email or in dm on other social media platforms. If you know someone that is already a Camundi, ask them to refer you directly via our ATS (Application Tracking System), we welcome all referrals!

Preparing for Your Interview

We want you to feel fully prepared for your interview, and we're here to help!  Catch the recording of our content-packed webinar, ‘Nailed it! Check out some quick tips below:

  • Learn about our Product, company culture, our values, mission, and the work we do.
    • Research is so useful to also establish if this is the type of product company you want to be a part of. We are very proud of the product we are building and alignment to our product and company goals, are critical in every role at Camunda. 
  • Please be yourself! Authenticity is important to us.
    • We encourage and include all dimensions and varieties of diversity, and we interview for culture add, values alignment and skills alignment, not culture fit.
  • We operate in a values driven environment, our FAITH Values are used daily in all aspects of our work and how we engage each other.
    • Alignment to these values are also assed during the hiring process. You can learn more about them here.
  • Every role at Camunda is linked to Core Skills and Job Skills for the specific position, these skills will also be evaluated during your interviews. Therefore if we ask you a lot of questions and ask for examples of how you did something in the past, this is why. 
    • We have an amazing Job role internal tool, that describes each skill under each role. Usually those skills also form part of the requirements for our jobs on our careers page. If you are curious, ask your interviewer to share a little more about the skills required for the role you are applying for! 
  • Reflect on your relevant experiences and how they relate to the position.
    • Prepare specific examples that demonstrate your abilities and alignment to the role.
  • Please prepare questions (don't skip this step), this is the ideal time to ask us anything about Camunda and the role and it is important that you have a full holistic view of the company, before you get to our final interview stages.
    • We thrive in transparency, therefore if you have any doubts, ask as early in the process as possible. 
    • Interview us too, we are low ego and appreciate all questions relating to Camunda, the role and the team. 
  • We'll get back to you as quickly as we can after every interview, however if you have any questions in the meantime, don't hesitate to email your Talent Acquisition Partner. 
    • We also want all your feedback, you can share this with your TA Partner at any time, however we'll also send you a candidate experience survey to complete, 5 days after completing our hiring process. 
    • We do try to provide feedback after every interview. Sometimes, its really difficult and truly means we have an exceptional candidate pipeline and folks that has more alignment than you for a role. Our intentions are always to be as transparent as we can be. 
  • While we generally do not share a specific Camunda-branded template for take-home assignments, you can find helpful prep information below! You really don't have to use it, your assignment or tasks, are yours!

Keep in mind, each interview stage might have specific steps for the department and role you are applying for, this could include a task or assessment. Most of our roles have a similar process, but there are a few roles that has a more specific preparation, due to the technical skills requirement for those roles.
