The best way to apply is directly through our Careers Page. Each role has a single, equitable hiring process, and we do not accept unsolicited applications via email or social media DMs.

Quick Tips to Help You Prepare

1. Get to Know Camunda
Spend some time exploring our product, values, mission, and culture. This helps you assess whether Camunda is the kind of product-led company you’re excited to be part of—and helps us see how you align with what we’re building.

2. Be Yourself
We value authenticity over perfection. Come as you are—we interview for culture add, not culture fit, and welcome all dimensions of diversity. Our goal is to create a space where you can thrive.

3. Know What Skills We're Looking For
Every role at Camunda is tied to a set of Core and Job-Specific Skills, which we evaluate during the interview process. You’ll be asked for examples from your past experience - this helps us understand how you approach your work.

4. Come Prepared with Examples
Reflect on your most relevant experiences and prepare a few specific stories that show your impact, problem-solving, and collaboration. Bonus points for connecting them to the role and the Camunda way of working.

5. Ask Questions (Seriously!)
Your questions matter just as much as ours. Use the interview to learn about the team, the company, and the role. This is your time to make sure Camunda is the right fit for you. Don’t hold back.

6. Interview Us Too
We’re transparent and low-ego. We welcome thoughtful questions and honest conversations. If anything is unclear, ask early. We want you to have the full picture before you reach the final stages.

7. Feedback & Communication
We aim to communicate promptly at every stage. If you ever have questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Talent Acquisition Partner. After your process wraps, we’ll also send a short survey to hear your thoughts and we truly care about your experience.

8. About Assignments
If your interview includes a take-home task, know that there’s no required format. We don’t expect you to use a Camunda-branded template - just use the approach that feels most natural to you.

Hiring Process 

Here is a brief overview of our Hiring Process at Camunda. Keep in mind, each interview stage might have specific steps for the department and role you are applying for, this could include a task or assessment. Most of our roles have a similar process, but there are a few roles that has a more specific preparation, due to the technical skills requirement for those roles.
