An Employer of Record (EOR) is a service provider that acts as the legal employer for a workforce on behalf of Camunda. They handle critical employment functions while allowing Camunda to maintain day-to-day management of employees.

We use PEO/EOR services to employ Camundi in locations where we don't have legal entities. Currently, we have entities in:

  • 🇩🇪 Germany
  • 🇺🇸 United States
  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom
  • 🇸🇬 Singapore

For all other global locations, we leverage an EOR partner, enabling us to find exceptional talent worldwide.

What are the differences with being a Remote.com Camundi? 

🤝 Our Commitment to Consistency

We strive to ensure ALL Camundi have a consistent employment experience, regardless of location or employer.

This commitment means core benefits and programs apply across the board, creating equity among team members worldwide.

📝 Offer & Contract Stage

When you accept an offer in a location where we use Remote.com:

  1. We securely transfer your offer details from Greenhouse to Remote.com's platform
  2. Remote.com prepares your employment agreement
  3. You receive the agreement for electronic signature

Due to certain co-employment risks we cannot include the following information in remote.com contracts:

  • VSOP 
    • When you start at Camunda you will be sent a VSOP allotment letter for the share amount that was offered to you. This is sent within your first two weeks of employment by our People Ops team via a platform called Ledgy. 
  • Specific Camunda Policies & Detail eg FTO.
    • Remote.com contracts will typically state the following to cover this fact
      • "Any additional XX entitlements, if any, will be granted to the Employee in accordance with the Employer’s and/or the Client’s policies."

    • Please note, this is consistent with our entity contracts, typically benefits & company programmes are not contractual.
  • Sales Incentive Plan / Variable Pay Plan information (Field Ops Roles only) 
    • When you start at Camunda you will be sent a variable pay letter for the bonus/comission amount that was offered to you. This is sent within your first two weeks of employment by our People Ops or RevOps dependent on your role.  


🚀 Onboarding Experience

Once your contract is signed and Remote.com profile is complete:

  • You transition to Camunda's onboarding process
  • People Connect becomes your primary point of contact
  • Our focus shifts to preparing you for your first day at Camunda

🔄 During Your Employment Journey

💳 Payroll Processing

  • Each pay run is completed by Remote.com
  • You receive your payslip via their platform
  • Typically available one day before your pay date

  • They manage final payroll and employment closure
