📢 Change for Q1 2026! This program represents an evolution from our old "Wellbeing/Fitness Reimbursement & Movement Offer" which was focused only on a limited use case for fitness classes/gym memberships, and has morphed into a more inclusive, broad-based Lifestyle Spending account. For questions, please reach out to Total Rewards in slack in the #ask-people-team channel. |
At Camunda, we strategically invest in our people to create meaningful reward experiences. We recognize that your wellbeing is personal—what helps one person thrive might be different for another. To honour that, we have evolved our fitness reimbursement into a flexible, global Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA), also known as our Live Well program.
This program empowers you with a €1,000 annual budget (€250 allotted quarterly) to spend (and then be reimbursed for) on what matters most to YOU and which improves your everyday lived experience.
To ensure a smooth transition from our old limited focus policy, and support our Payroll team during their busiest season, 2026 will follow a stepped investment plan. As such, this year will look different from 2027 onwards and will comprise the 2 phases described below.
Phase | Focus | Eligible Amount | Submission Period | Payout Date |
Q1 2026 | 2025 Fitness Legacy: Claims for expenses incurred in 2025 under the old "Fitness & Movement" rules. Check rules below | Up to €500 / £500 / $600(depending on location). | Call for submissions from 16-27 Feb 2026 (slack message in #company-whats-happening) | March 2026 Payroll. |
Q2-Q4 2026 | Live Well LSA Launch: Broadening categories to include holistic wellbeing. | €150 available each quarter (450 over Q2-4) | Throughout the quarter via Bob (Reminder in #company-whats-happening once a quarter) | Processed at the end of each quarter, payout in payroll the month following quarter close. |
2027+ | Live Well LSA continues, but more to BAU | €250 available each quarter (1,000 annually) | Throughout each quarter, potentially via a more refined recognition system. | Processed at the end of each quarter, payout in payroll the month following quarter close. |
The Live Well program is built on the mindset of manager of one and designed to offer you access to benefits that are meaningful to your life stage and circumstances. You can utilise your funds across these five categories:
Category | What can I use this for? | Why it matters |
Active & Physical | Everything that gets you moving: Gym memberships, boutique fitness classes (Piloton, Barry's, etc.), sports club dues (tennis, rowing, football), personal training, and nutrition coaching. Gear up: Unlike the old program, this now includes sports equipment like yoga mats, running shoes, weights, or even a new surfboard. Events (Replaces old Sports Events offering): Race entry fees for everything from a local 5k to an Ironman | To help you stay energized and healthy in whatever way you enjoy moving your body. |
Mind & Body | Recovery & Relaxation: Professional massages, spa treatments, saunas, and acupuncture. Mental Space: Subscriptions for wellbeing apps and sleep-support tools. Self-Care: High-quality skincare, aromatherapy, journals, etc | To provide space for mental clarity, relaxation, and sensory rest so you can bring your best self to work and life. |
Family & Connection | Support at Home: Childcare fees, nanny services, and specialized elder care support for your loved ones. Our Furry Friends: Pet sitting, dog walking, vet bills, and grooming services. Reclaiming Time: Professional home cleaning services and laundry services so you can focus on what matters. | To give you back your most precious resource—time—and support the people (and pets!) who support you. |
Lifestyle & Hobbies | Experiences: Concert tickets, cinema passes, museum memberships, and sporting event tickets. Travel: Flights, hotels, and rentals for your personal adventures and vacations. Personal Growth: Cooking classes, art supplies, music lessons, or gardening tools—whatever your passion project looks like. Dining: Treat yourself to a meaningful meal out or a specialized food subscription | To celebrate your life outside of Camunda and encourage you to explore your passions and creative interests. |
Financial Wellness | Financial advising sessions, tax preparation services, or wealth planning tools. | To provide peace of mind by helping you plan for your long-term financial goals. |
Note on Taxation: The LSA is a taxable benefit. You will receive the full amount requested for reimbursement, and Camunda will handle the required tax processing through your payslip deductions. |

🔍 The Review Process
To ensure our program remains fair and aligned with our shared goals, the Total Rewards team reviews every submission.
Before we fully launch our broad "Live Well" LSA in Q2, we are dedicating Q1 to honouring our commitment to your 2025 health and fitness efforts. This is the final reimbursement cycle for the legacy program.
The 2025 program focuses strictly on active movement and has specific regional caps
Entity | Max Annual Amount |
Camunda Inc (US) | Up to $600 USDÂ |
GmbH, Ltd, PTE Ltd, & Remote.com | Up to €500 / £500 |
To ensure a smooth approval from the Total Rewards team, please verify your expenses fall into these 2025 categories:Â
Yes. The LSA is a taxable benefit processed as salary. You will receive the full amount you request as a gross reimbursement, with taxes handled through payroll. |
You'll need to pay the difference yourself. The reimbursement benefit is capped at the maximum amount for all Camundi |
Your Q1 2026 benefit amount will be pro-rated based on your start date in 2025, and from Q2 2026 the budget will not be prorated. |
Unused funds within a calendar year will roll over to the next quarter, but all funds must be realized/incurred within the associated calendar year. |
|
2026 will be a transition year as we move from our old to our new policy. You will have access to 500/600 (2025 reimbursements) + 450 for the 2026 calendar year. i.e., Expenses from 1 Jan 26- March 26 can be reimbursed from Q2 onwards |
The intake for all 2025 legacy fitness claims opens on 16 February, 2026, and will run for 2 weeks. Our new broader Live Well LSA will be available from April 1 2026 for inputs. |
You can submit requests as you incur them! However, they will only be paid out in quarterly batches. We recommend grouping your smaller receipts into one submission per quarter to make it easier for you and the Total Rewards team. |
No worries! If you miss the submission window for one quarter, your request will simply be reviewed and processed in the next quarterly cycle. Just remember that all expenses must be claimed within the same calendar year they were incurred. |
Yes! To make things easier and more transparent for everyone, we have officially retired the old Google Form. All 2025 legacy claims are now submitted through HiBob, allowing you to track your approval status in real-time and ensuring all your rewards data is in one secure place that is easier to manage downstream. |
Absolutely! We believe a rewards program must provide value to everyone, regardless of their current life stage. As long as you are an active Camundi at the time of the payout, you are eligible for the LSA. Time spent on leave does not reduce your available LSA budget. |
