Once a year, Camunda brings the whole team together for a week-long in-person team event.

This is our opportunity to connect and meet colleagues away from daily business, socialize and build our outstanding people culture.

As with any Camunda event, attendance is voluntary and since we are remote -first and our colleagues are located around the globe, we aim for a different location every year.

So far, in 2019, 120 Camundos went to Sanga-Saby in Sweden. And in 2021, 250 Camundos enjoyed 4 days on Obonjan Island in Croatia.

Introducing Camunda's CSR Initiative

A lot goes into making each Retreat a reality – starting with the location. Even though each Retreat can and should feel unreal, we are still very much rooted in the real world and no travel comes without risks. As such, we have a diligent and stringent vetting process in place and remain considerate of political, environmental, societal, social, and economic conditions.

Each potential location, from the host country all the way down to the physical venue, is vigorously vetted for the on-site safety of each attendee. It is vital you both are and feel safe wherever we are.

While our Annual Retreat is an opportunity to better connect, recharge, and relax as a team, it is also an exciting chance for us as Camunda to have a positive impact.

This is why we are excited to announce our Retreat Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative. Starting with our 2024 Retreat, we will work with nonprofits, tourist boards, local communities, and, where possible, government organizations to give back just as much as get from our unforgettable Retreat experiences.

Our contribution will look different in each place that we visit but we promise to leave the biggest and most positive imprint that we can.

If you have any questions or simply want to chat about the initiative, please reach out to Eve via Slack. Stay tuned for more!
