2] Medical
Camunda offers Private Camunda offers Private Medical Insurance (PMI) via AXA. Cover is provided for you and your dependents at no cost. The cover is treated as a benefit in kind for tax purposes. Camunda pays the premiums on your behalf, but you will be taxed on the cost of these at your highest marginal rate of tax.
Please note that cover is on a ‘Moratorium’ basis and does not cover pre-existing conditions.
Which dependents can be covered?
- Children
- Spouse, Domestic Partner, Civil Partner, or Partner can also be added
- The only requirement is that they must live at the same address as the primary member

b. Treatment including Comprehensive Cancer Cover
- Full coverage for in-patient and day-patient hospital costs, including surgery, diagnostic tests, drugs, and accommodation
- Specialist and anaesthetist fees for in-patient or day-patient treatment
- Out-patient CT, MRI, and PET scans on specialist referral
- Out-patient surgery
- Radiotherapy and chemotherapy
- Hospital accommodation for one parent while a covered child is receiving treatment

Camunda offers a Private Group Pension Scheme through Aviva with Salary Sacrifice, providing tax-efficient retirement savings.

Onboarding
To enroll in medical cover, you will receive an esign request in bob with your PMI election form on your first day of employment. Once complete, the People Connect team will coordinate with BAS to update AXA. The PMI form needs to be completed within your first 30 days of employment in order to be backdated to your start date.
Once enrolled, you can expect to receive an email from AXA within 48 hours containing your new joiner pack. At that time, you will also have access to the AXA Health online member portal, where you can access scheme documents and review claims.
Changes
Changes to your enrollment can only be made at your time of hire, during annual renewal or if you experience a qualifying life event.

Important points to note:
- Your existing coverage remains unchanged
- Your policy terms stay the same
- No action is required from you
All employees are covered through Group Life Insurance (GLA) at 4x your base salary in the event of your death whilst working for Camunda Ltd.
- There is no enrollment needed to participate in the benefit and no cost to employees.
- If you're over the free cover limit, additional underwriting from AIG may be required. To complete this, AIG will reach out via email requesting details.
- Registration can be completed using your National Insurance number. If your NI number is not in bob, then a temporary number will be provided by the People Ops team.
- Underwriting can be waived through AIG if desired.

6] Pension Plan
Camunda offers Private Group Pension Scheme through Aviva with Salary Sacrifice. The plan includes an automatic enrollment provision for new employees of 6% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution (contributions based on base salary). Camundi are required to contribute a minimum of 3% (combined contribution of 9%).

7] Eye and Eyesight Testing for DSE Users
As part of our commitment to Camundi health and safety, and in compliance with HSE regulations, Camunda Ltd offers reimbursement for eye and eyesight testing for all Display Screen Equipment (DSE) users. This benefit is in addition to our existing medical coverage through AXA.
